Competition Team

Try out will be held at the gym on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from 9:00am-12:00pm

The focus of Excel's progressive & safe gymnastics with positive & motivating coaching.  We seriously believe the impact that coaches have on children.  We pride ourselves on positive feedback, progressive training & most importantly, safety.

Each program offers multiple Team practices, Tumble classes, Fit & Flex exercise and flexibility classes in order to help prepare each individual for the competition season ahead. 

USAG:

XCEL Bronze- 6 hours a week/ 2 days a week

XCEL Silver- 8 hours a week/ 2-3 days a week

XCEL Gold/Level 4- 11 hours a week/ 3 days a week

Level 6+- 14 hours a week /4 days a week

• Minimum age: Has to be 5 years old by August 31st, 2024
• Athletes may enter into the program by competing Xcel Bronze or Xcel Silver
• Mobility is based primarily on skill level and less on scores.
• Gymnasts have try out for the competition program in order to be considered for the USAG Program. After careful selection by Excel team coaches your athlete will receive an invitation to a specific USAG program.
